Burlap Heart Picture

 

 

 

 

I thought I would never get this heart picture done. But here it is. I wish I wouldve taken more pictures on how I made this. I do love the simplicity of it. The wood frame was salvaged from the bottom of a box that a dishwasher came in. I couldnt throw it away. I saw the possibilities, LOL!! Next I had some painters drop cloth laying around, cut it up to fit the frame. Stapled it down in the back. Added some furniture tacks around the frame. The burlap flowers where made in advance. Did I mention I love burlap too. So now this picture frame is mounted on my living room wall.

I got this old tin can, painted it with spray paint. Next I glued burlap around it. I added some lace to make the burlap stand out more. Added my own muslin fabric flowers. I love muslin fabric. You can make just about anything with it. I wrapped strands of pearls around the tin can. Last but not least I top the tin can with some artificial flowers. Voila!!! My own Shabby Chic centerpiece. I love it.

 

 

 

 

Bib Necklace Craze

These have been my latest. I love bib necklaces. I used pearls, buttons, chain, lace, ribbon, felt material for the back. I gave these away as gifts.

Be Back In A While.......Moving!!!!

At this time I will be moving. Let's just say I will be getting a bigger space to work. I am really excited, but not for the unpacking, Yuck!!  Can't wait to return and post more, thank you for reading my blogs.
